Scene Three-Confrontation

[The scene opens with Lincoln driving his car at a ridiculous speed down the street. He occasionally looks back over his shoulder to see if he is losing his enemy.]

[After a while he pulls into a local driveway situated on a rural street with a few other houses on the block. He gets out of his car and walks into the house. The door is unlocked. Camera angle shows him walking and turning on the light only to find John Wilkes Booth sitting on his couch with a gun pointed at Mary Todd Lincoln and Thomas.]

Booth: Well, well, well, if it isn’t Mr. Abe Lincoln again. I believe you have something of mine.

[Lincoln who is still too stunned to do anything doesn’t respond.]

Booth: Hand over the (Insert Random Object) now or the wife and kid get it.
Lincoln: Booth…John Booth…
Booth: So you do remember me? The past is not the issue right now Lincoln. Remorse will get you nowhere. Hand over the weapon or prepare to watch your wife shot before your very eyes.

[Booth cocks the gun, and fires a warning shot at the ground around Mary’s feet. A muffled scream comes from behind the bandana tied around her mouth.]

Lincoln: Why…?
Booth: We have no time for such facetious talk hand over the weapon now before its too late!
Lincoln: Free them first.
Booth: Sorry, no deal.

[Booth fires another warning shot on the ground.]

Lincoln: Okay…okay, you win. Let me get it.

[Lincoln reaches into his coat and searches throughout his pockets searching for an item. However when he brings his hand out, instead of the {item} he pulls out his 12mm and fires directly at Booth hitting him straight in the chest. Lincoln then fires three more times to assure his kill. He then runs over to Mary to untie her and his son. As Lincoln fumbles around with knot, he notices movement out of the corner of his eye. He turns around to see Booth with his gun pointed straight at Lincoln’s head.]

Booth: Not a smart move Mr. Lincoln

[Lincoln sneezes]

Booth: Gesundheit
Lincoln: Thank you

[Booth then shoots Lincoln square in the head and Lincoln falls over backwards as Mary is heard screaming another muffled scream and Booth is heard chuckling to himself.]
